Essential CPR/AED Training for Track Officials
Track officials are urged to prioritize CPR and AED training, emphasizing the importance of being prepared to save lives in emergencies.
Are You Prepared to Save a Life? “Gute Leute muss man Haben.” So said the captain of the submarine that was going to be able to rise from the depths of the Mediterranean, allowing its occupants to live. Translated, this means, “One must have good people.” He was referring to his chief engineer, but more broadly, to those who keep at something until the problem is solved. His words also can be interpreted to mean that our fates can be in the hands of others. This is no more true than those times when someone has suffered cardiac arrest and there are good people around to act to save that person’s life.
