As the end of spring approaches, the Association Meet, Youth National Meet, and Junior Olympic meets are on the horizon. It is essential for officials to familiarize themselves with the latest updates to the youth programs, as outlined in the USATF rulebook starting with Rule 300. Effective January 1, 2026, the High Performance/Emerging Athlete Division will be introduced. This division is designated for athletes in individual events and relays selected by the National Youth Executive Committee. Participation requires athletes to meet specific event standards.
